No Love Lost
In today's society and with a somewhat familiar yet sinister outlook on what's to come, countercultures bring light into the darkness; with liberated ideas, styles, and opinions freed from gender binaries and conservative norms of societal constructs. Fluid, so that identities are an ever-changing expression of freedom. Forming a collective solid, where mutual support and respect are essential.

Fluid, so that identities are an ever-changing expression of freedom. Forming a collective solid, where mutual support and respect are essential.
With NO LOVE LOST we documented the Antwerp-based community around musician and all-around creative Kleine Crack. The casting consists of real characters, the people around him. The collective's dark themes and aesthetic (inspired by 1980s Memphis rap and it’s horror themes) hit a contemporary post-punk nerve whilst referring to universal themes and capturing the zeitgeist, a collective with importance beyond national borders.
At first sight, the sometimes sinister aesthetics and dark music of Kleine Crack might color expectations, but for this project, Amsterdam based photographer Pieter Numan and his team archive and capture characters that can move our society forward.
Kleine Crack observes his fans are drawn to the darkness in his work as a symbol for the times we are living in but he and his collective purposely stay away from speaking about / supporting violence in the work unlike Memphis Rap that has therefore only left aesthetic and musical traces.
Inclusivity and the freedom to express yourself outside societal restrictions play a big part in the togetherness of this group of people. Within Kleine Crack’s collective you’ll find a potpourri of different expression but while everyone is their own artistic creation they form a unity, becoming examples of how individual, yet collective the creative futures for young adults can be.
NO LOVE LOST is an intimate and hopeful documentation of contemporary counterculture.

32 Times Paranoia
Ray Fuego appears 32 times throughout this zine, captured in various expressions of paranoia. The photographs were taken during the filming of the music video for "Paranoia," directed by Jeroen Dankers. In the video, Ray Fuego’s face is painted white, symbolizing the expectations imposed on him as the frontman and vocalist of the punk band Ploegendienst by the predominantly white punk audience and society at large. Fuego defies stereotypes and openly rejects the racist tendencies often present within the punk scene.

Everything Ok not Ok
Everything OK Not OK captures a paradoxical narrative of defiance and constraint within a concrete, urban landscape. The images depict young people in Western clothing, occasionally accented with vibrant details or symbols of alternative subcultures. What might appear as subtle rebellion to Western viewers like wearing an earring, dyeing one’s hair, or a woman smoking a cigarette holds far greater weight in Tbilisi. In this context, such acts challenge societal norms, the Orthodox Church, and traditional expectations, transforming everyday choices into statements of defiance.
